Welcome to the Tap Room.
So, what is a Tap Room? Many people have their own spin on what a Tap Room should be, the Oxford dictionary says “its a room with taps that sell alcoholic beverages.” Not at cleaver name then, more of a blunt description! But, what’s between the lines, what else is on-tap there other than the Beer? The Tap Room is the place to meet people talk about what’s going locally, what foods and beer are in season, what events are going on, a place where community and culture is king!
What makes the taproom different, it rewards sustainability. Bring your bottles back and reuse them, better still BYOP (Bring your own packaging). The traditional way to do that is with something known as a growler and we don’t mean a small iceberg!
www.kegerator.com describes a beer growler as a container or vessel that is used for the transport of beer. It can also be described as an air-tight jug, typically made out of glass, ceramic or stainless steel that allows you to take draft beer from one place to another without a degradation of quality.
Far more sustainable than glass or cans that are recycled after one use! Bring in a growler for a fill and be rewarded.
